Website URL QR Codes

Create QR codes that link to any website or webpage.

This is our most popular QR code type. It links to any webpage—your website, a landing page, a product page, anything with a URL.

For the full guide, see Website QR Codes.

Quick Start

Click Create QR Code, select Website, enter your URL (include https://), choose dynamic or static, customize, and download.

Dynamic vs Static

Dynamic: Change the URL anytime, see scan analytics, uses one of your dynamic code slots. Free tier includes 1 dynamic code.

Static: URL is permanent, no analytics, but free and unlimited.

For most business uses, dynamic makes more sense—you can fix mistakes after printing and see how your campaigns perform.

Tips

Keep URLs short. Long URLs with lots of parameters create complex patterns that are harder to scan. Dynamic codes use our short redirect anyway, so this mainly matters for static codes.

Make the destination mobile-friendly. Most scans happen on phones. If your landing page doesn't work well on mobile, you'll lose people.

Add UTM parameters for Google Analytics tracking: ?utm_source=qr&utm_medium=print&utm_campaign=flyer

Troubleshooting

Code won't scan: URL might be too long (especially for static codes), or the QR code is too small. Try printing larger.

Wrong page loading: If it's dynamic, check your dashboard—you may have updated it. If static, the URL is fixed forever.
