- Phishing: Fraudulent content designed to steal personal information, credentials, or financial data
- Scams: Deceptive schemes designed to defraud users
Illegal Content
- Content that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Content that facilitates illegal activities
- Sale or promotion of illegal goods or services
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights
Harmful Speech and Harassment
- Hate Speech: Content that attacks individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition
- Harassment: Content designed to threaten, intimidate, or bully individuals
- Violence: Content that threatens, glorifies, or incites violence against others
Exploitation and Abuse
- Child Exploitation: Any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors (this will be reported to authorities)
- Non-Consensual Intimate Content: Intimate or sexual content shared without the subject's consent
- Human Trafficking: Content that facilitates human trafficking or exploitation
Misinformation
- Medical Misinformation: False or misleading health claims that could cause harm
- Election Misinformation: False information about voting, elections, or electoral processes
- Dangerous Misinformation: False claims that could lead to imminent physical harm
Other Prohibited Content
- Content promoting terrorism or terrorist organizations
- Content promoting self-harm or suicide
- Graphic violence or gore intended to shock or disturb
- Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging
Prohibited Behavior
You may not engage in the following behaviors when using QR Code Maker:
Security Violations
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Circumventing security measures or access restrictions
- Probing or testing our systems for vulnerabilities without authorization
- Interfering with or disrupting our services
Deceptive Practices
- Impersonating other individuals, organizations, or QR Code Maker
- Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation
- Creating misleading QR codes that disguise their true destination
- Using URL cloaking or redirect chains to hide malicious destinations
Abuse of Service
- Using the service to send spam or unsolicited messages
- Creating accounts to evade previous suspensions or bans
- Automated access or scraping without permission
- Reselling or redistributing our services without authorization
Privacy Violations
- Collecting personal information without proper consent
- Sharing private information about others without authorization (doxxing)
- Using QR codes for unauthorized surveillance or tracking
Reporting Violations
If you encounter QR codes created with our service that violate this policy, please report them to us at support@qr-code-maker.app.
When reporting, please include:
- The QR code or URL in question
- A description of the violation
- Any relevant screenshots or evidence
We review all reports and take appropriate action. We may not be able to share the outcome of our investigation due to privacy considerations.
Enforcement
We take violations of this policy seriously. When we identify or receive reports of violations, we may take any of the following actions:
