vCard Plus QR Codes
Create digital business cards that save directly to contacts.
vCard Plus is our digital business card. When someone scans it, they see your contact info and can save it directly to their phone with one tap.
What It Does
Someone scans your QR code, sees a clean profile page with your info, and taps "Save to Contacts." Your name, number, email—everything goes straight into their phone. No typos from reading handwritten notes, no lost business cards.
Information You Can Include
- Name – first, last, and how you prefer to be addressed
- Photo – your headshot or company logo
- Job title and company
- Phone numbers – add as many as you need
- Email addresses – personal, work, whatever
- Website – personal or company
- Physical address – office or mailing address
- Social profiles – LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
- Notes – anything else you want to share
Every field is optional. Only include what you actually want to share—you don't need to fill out the whole form.
Creating a vCard Plus Code
Click + Create QR Code and select vCard Plus. Fill in your contact details, add a photo if you want (it helps people remember who you are), customize the QR design, and download.

Best Practices
Use a Decent Photo
It doesn't need to be a professional headshot, but pick something clear and reasonably recent. Square format works best. This is what people see when they scan your code—it helps them remember who you are.
Keep It Current
Since vCard Plus is dynamic, you can update your info whenever things change. New phone number? Different job? Just update it in the dashboard and everyone who scans your code gets the new info.
Share What's Relevant
Think about who's scanning and what they need:
- Sales folks: Mobile, email, LinkedIn
- Freelancers: Portfolio, email
- Executives: Email, maybe assistant's number
- Creatives: Instagram, portfolio
Remember that anyone can scan a QR code. Only include information you're comfortable sharing publicly.
Where People Use Them
Business cards: Print the QR code on the back. People scan instead of typing.
Conference badges: Stick it on your name badge. Networking at events becomes way faster.
Email signatures: Add a small QR code so contacts can save your info with a scan.
Presentations: Put your code on the last slide so attendees can connect with you.
Trade shows: Display on your booth banner for quick lead capture.
Analytics
You can see how your networking is going:
- How many people viewed your card
- When scans happen (conference day vs. after)
- General location (city-level)
- What devices people use
The Landing Page
When someone scans, they don't see a wall of raw text. They get a clean, mobile-friendly page with your photo, contact details, and buttons to call, email, or get directions. There's also a "Save to Contacts" button that puts everything into their phone.
This looks a lot better than the old-school vCard format where your info just dumps onto the screen.
Common Questions
Do they need an app to scan it? No. iPhones and Android phones can scan QR codes with the built-in camera.
What if I change jobs? Update your vCard in the dashboard. Anyone who scans your code from then on sees the new info. (People who already saved you won't get auto-updated, obviously.)
Is there a contact limit? Each vCard Plus is one contact. For team directories, create multiple codes or use a Business Page.
Can I see who saved my contact? We track scans anonymously, but we can't tell if someone actually tapped "Save to Contacts."
What about NFC? vCard Plus uses QR codes. If you want an NFC business card, get a third-party NFC card and program it to open your vCard Plus URL.
