Add team members, manage access, and collaborate on QR codes.

Inviting Team Members

Only Owners and Admins can invite new members.

  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter their email address
  4. Select their role (Admin, Editor, or Viewer)
  5. Click Send Invitation

The invitee gets an email with a link to accept. Links expire after 7 days. If they don't see it, check spam—emails come from our domain.

Roles

Admin: Full access—create/edit/delete codes, manage team members, access billing.

Editor: Can work with QR codes (create, edit, delete, organize folders) but can't manage team or billing.

Viewer: Read-only access—view codes, view analytics, download codes. Can't create or edit.

See Roles and Permissions for the detailed breakdown.

Managing Your Team

Go to Settings → Team to see all members and their roles.

Change a role: Click the role dropdown next to a member and select a new role. Changes take effect immediately.

Remove a member: Click Remove or use the ⋮ menu. They lose access immediately.

Removing a team member doesn't delete QR codes they created. Codes belong to the organization, not individuals.

Best Practices

Start with minimal access: Give new members Editor or Viewer first. Only make them Admin if they actually need team/billing access.

Have multiple admins: Don't let one person be the only admin. If they leave and you haven't planned for it, you'll need to contact support to regain access.

Offboard promptly: When someone leaves the company, remove their access immediately.

Billing

Team billing is per-plan, not per-user. Your plan includes a set number of team members. Only Admins can view and manage billing.

Common Questions

Do team members pay separately? No. Your plan covers all members within its limit.

Can someone be on multiple organizations? Yes. Team members can have their own accounts and be part of multiple organizations.

What happens to codes when I remove someone? Codes stay with the organization. The removed person just loses access.

How do I transfer ownership? Contact support—organization ownership transfers aren't self-service.
