The free tier is actually free. Sign up with your email, and you never have to enter payment information unless you decide to upgrade.
What You Get
1 dynamic QR code — You can edit where it points anytime, and you get scan analytics (when scans happen, from where, what devices). This code never expires.
Unlimited static QR codes — Create as many as you want. Full customization (colors, logos, frames), download as PNG/SVG/PDF. These are yours forever, no strings attached.
1,000 scans per month on your dynamic code. Scans reset on the first of each month. Static codes have no scan limits since they don't route through our servers.
We don't ask for a credit card at signup. You can use the free tier indefinitely.
What Happens at the Limits
If you hit 1,000 scans: Your code keeps working and redirecting normally. You'll see a prompt in your dashboard suggesting an upgrade, but we don't disable anything. Scans reset at the start of the next month.
If you try to create a second dynamic code: You'll see an upgrade prompt. Your existing code keeps working. You can delete it to make room for a new one, or upgrade for more capacity.

Some services advertise "free" but require a credit card and auto-charge when the trial ends. We don't do that. Free means free.
Why We Do This
Most people trying QR codes for the first time just need one or two. They're testing it out, sharing WiFi at home, or doing a small project. Forcing them into a paid plan doesn't make sense.
If you eventually need more—more codes, higher scan limits, team features—you can upgrade then. Plenty of users stay on the free tier forever for personal use. That's fine.

Do my free codes ever expire? No. They work forever, even if you never upgrade.
Can I downgrade back to free later? Yes. If you cancel a paid plan, you keep your first dynamic code and all your static codes.
