What You Can Include

Menu categories: Appetizers, Mains, Desserts, Drinks—organize however makes sense for your restaurant.

Menu items: Name, description, and price for each item. Keep descriptions appetizing but concise.

Item images: Optional photos of dishes. Great for signature items, though not required for every item.

Dietary indicators: Mark items as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or add custom labels.

Multiple menus: Create separate menus for lunch, dinner, drinks, or seasonal specials.

Instant Updates

Changed your prices? Sold out of the salmon? Edit your menu in the dashboard and it's live immediately. Your QR codes stay the same.

Creating a Menu QR Code

Step 1: Go to Assets → Menus and create your menu. Add categories, then add items to each category.

Step 2: Click + Create QR Code, select Restaurant Menu, and choose the menu you created.

Step 3: Customize your QR code design and download.

Build the Menu First

Menus are standalone assets in the Assets section. Create and organize your menu there first, then link it to as many QR codes as you need.

Where to Use Menu QR Codes

Table tents: Print a tent card for each table. No physical menus to clean or replace.

Wall displays: Frame a poster-sized QR at the entrance so people can browse while waiting.

Outdoor seating: Weatherproof signage with your menu QR survives the elements.

Takeout counters: Let customers browse while they wait for pickup.

Window displays: Passersby can check your menu before deciding to come in.

The Guest Experience

When someone scans your menu QR:

  1. The menu loads instantly—no app download required
  2. Categories appear as easy-to-tap sections
  3. Items show name, description, and price
  4. Photos (if you added them) display in a clean layout
  5. Everything is sized for comfortable phone reading

Menu Builder Tips

Write appetizing descriptions. "Grilled salmon with lemon butter" beats "Salmon - grilled."

Keep prices current. Nothing frustrates guests more than menu prices that don't match what they're charged.

Organize logically. Follow the order customers expect: starters, mains, sides, desserts, drinks.

Use photos strategically. A few great photos beat many mediocre ones. Focus on your signature dishes.

Test on your own phone. Does it load fast? Is text readable? Is the navigation intuitive?

Analytics

Common Questions

Do guests need an app? No. The menu opens in their phone's browser, works on any smartphone.

Can I have multiple menus? Yes. Create separate menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, desserts—whatever you need. Each can have its own QR code.

What if I run out of an item? Mark it as unavailable or remove it temporarily. Changes are instant.

Can guests order from the menu? This is a view-only menu. For ordering, you'd integrate with a separate ordering system or link to it from your menu.

What about guests without smartphones? Keep a few printed menus on hand for guests who prefer them or don't have a phone.
