Upgrading Your Plan
How to upgrade your plan and what happens when you do.
Upgrades take effect immediately. As soon as payment processes, your new limits and features are active.
How to Upgrade
Go to Settings → Billing, click Upgrade Plan, pick your tier, choose monthly or annual, and enter payment info. That's it.
If you've already hit your limits and see an upgrade prompt in the dashboard, you can click through from there too.
What Changes Right Away
Once you upgrade:
- Your code and scan limits increase instantly
- Any codes that were over your old limit become fully editable again
- New features (API, white-label, team) are available immediately
- Your existing codes keep working—no need to re-download or re-create anything
How Billing Works Mid-Cycle
If you upgrade partway through your billing period:
Monthly → higher monthly: We charge the prorated difference for the remaining days. If you upgrade from Starter to Pro with 15 days left, you pay roughly half the price difference.
Monthly → annual: You're charged the annual amount upfront. Any remaining days from your monthly plan get credited.
Annual → higher annual: You pay the prorated difference for the remaining months on your annual term.
Upgrading from Free
If you're on the free tier and upgrading:
- Your existing dynamic code and all static codes stay active
- You can now create more dynamic codes (up to your new plan's limit)
- No migration or re-setup needed

Need more QR codes? Upgrade to the next tier. New limits apply immediately.
Need team collaboration? Team plan includes 20 members with role-based permissions.
Need API access? Available on Pro and Team. API keys are in Settings → API.
Need to remove branding? White-label is on Pro and Team. Settings are in the QR customizer.
Need enterprise features? Contact us to discuss custom pricing for unlimited usage, dedicated support, and integrations.
Questions
Can I upgrade anytime? Yes. There's no waiting period.
Will I lose anything? No. All your codes, analytics, and settings are preserved.
What if I upgrade and change my mind? Monthly: cancel anytime, access continues until end of billing period. Annual: full refund within 30 days.
Do I need to re-download my QR codes? No. Your codes don't change. They just gain access to new features.
